Máis was founded in 2012 by José Rodríguez María Santalices, its CEO. After a period as General Director at GALISIM (part of the Congalsa group), he started a new venture searching for developable land. Land was acquired in Teo (Galicia) and two plots in Adeje (Tenerife) to develop two projects: the remodeling of UA3 in the Los Menores neighborhood and another entirely residential project on the seafront in Rocabella.
